Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who has liked, loved and shared the news about my sparkly new website this week, you guys are amazing! Your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and your welcome back has filled me with such energy! I will admit that I have been a little apprehensive about coming back to blogging after such a long break (almost a year!), wondering if I would be able find my voice again or if it this is something I really do want to pursue again?! The good news is that the answer to both those questions is a definite yes! Maybe another day I’ll talk about why I went quiet for so long?!

But for today let’s talk about my new book, Crochet Home! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have already seen a couple of sneaky peeks from the photoshoots I did back in the spring? Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing more peeks and previews right here to tantalise your crochet hooks, but for now I am excited to show you the front cover and tell you that it will be published this September by David & Charles in the UK, US and Australia to begin with. Hopefully co-editions and translations will follow soon after but this is in the hands of my publisher, of course I shall let you know as soon as I hear any news.

I can also tell you that amongst its pages there are 20 projects including garlands, decorations, pillows, potholders and blankets. There will be a bunch of projects that many of you will recognise as they are sure to be your favourites from my back catalogue and alongside these signature pieces I have added a collection of new designs that I hope you will love just as much?! I am so proud of each and every one of them and think they make a very cohesive collection that explores a variety of ideas, techniques and yarn fibres - I’ve worked with everything from paper twine to bespoke hand dyed sock yarns - something for everyone I hope?!

I am also especially proud of all the hard work that has gone into making this book happen and want to say a huge, huge thank you to the whole team at F&W Media and David & Charles for helping me achieve this amazing milestone in my creative career!
