Hello my lovelies! I'm feeling a wee bit off today. Not ill. Just a wee bit heavy under all this miserable weather! If you have read this blog for any length of time you might have noticed that my mood always goes with the weather and I'm definitely a sunshine kinda girl. So the lack of summer in these parts is playing heavy on me at the moment. Sometimes I can shake off these iffy feelings with distractions of the crafty kind, sometimes I can't.
This morning my wee spirit was lifted on seeing Miss Tif's (and her #4's!) very spiffy pom pom garland. On spying it's loveliness I felt a sudden urge to be in my wee studio for lots of quality crafting time. I've been lacking this feeling a wee bit recently so I must take it as a sign and follow my crafty instincts! So, I am going to take a few days for myself and my sanity and I shall pop back to chat with all you lovelies soon.

Wishing you all a sunshiny day,
Emma, x

What's not to love? Beautiful, bright, fresh, clean colours. Aa wee bit girlie, a wee bit vintage, a lot of flowery and a whole lot of 'granny chic' loveliness! What more could you ask for!?

Well I have had a great week getting back into my blogging routine! Thank you all so much for your lovely comments both here and over on my new Facebook pages, you have given me tons to be smiley about! Now I'm just hoping that the gorgeous sunny weather we've been having (apart from the freak hail stone shower yesterday!?) will continue over the weekend so that we can enjoy a picnic or two. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Wishing you all a delightful weekend, whether you're picnicing or not,
Emma, x

colour palette : vintage crafting

colour palette : vintage crafting | Emma Lamb

I think this has to be my most favourite mosaic and palette yet, I just adore this riot of vintage colour - goldenrod, teal, olive, beige, red, ochre, granny knicker pink (as it shall forever now be known!) and soft cream.

Oh, and how gorgeous is Sophie's wee vintage button wall collage!? I think I may need to raid my button jars, I wonder if I have any blu-tack squirrelled away somewhere? Hmmm, can you still buy blu-tack!? Apparently you can and they have a handy wee 'uses' list on their site ;)

Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
Emma, x
