Yep, there's nothing like a wee splash of colour to provide some inspiration
on a grey and soggy Monday morning and afternoon. I'm so in love with this gorgeous granny blanket by Sandra Juto
and dottie angel's
collection of vintage multi-coloured knitting needles...
And finally, here's a wee teaser of my own colourful crafty collection, crocheted goodies as far as the eye can see...
At least that's what if feels like in my wee studio right now! No matter which way I look at the moment there's some kind of crochet project that I'm working on and each one at a different stage of completion... and do you know what!? I absolutely love it!
I have known how to crochet for as long as I can remember, but in the last year or so I have fallen in love with it all over again. The act of actually doing it is so rhythmic and soothing, and being able to work so freely with colour is incredibly therapeutic. It's also such a versatile craft and every time I finish or start a new piece my brain is flooded with ideas and possibilities that I just want to start immediately... but, all in good time as I only have one pair of hands!
